Laurel Academy
To meet the increased programming needs of Laurel Academy grade school, this project involved the adaptive reuse of three newly acquired neighboring residential structures for educational classroom use. The project is separated into three distinct phases of work for each of the existing structures. The first phase studio building renovation included changes to interior partitions and bathrooms as well as improved exterior entry access including a new deck area, stairs, and elevator lift. As part of this renovation, a full seismic evaluation and upgrade was also performed.
