ABOUT ROI

Roi is the principal structural engineer and owner of ROICH Structural, pllc.  She has over 15 years of experience working in Seattle as a structural engineering consultant.  For the past 12 years, her practice has focused largely on seismic design and retrofits of existing buildings. Her work varies from outdoor art installations to the complete redevelopment and reuse of existing concrete, masonry, timber buildings, swimming pools and natatoriums. Roi is experienced in all aspects of structural engineering, from analysis and design to construction management. Her strength lies in understanding the issues of constructability and finding unique solutions to complex problems.    

Roi enjoys participating in STEM program career days and speaking events to encourage young women and men interested in the field of structural engineering. Roi was appointed by the Mayor's office and currently serves on the Landmarks Preservation Board for the City of Seattle.
