Columbia City Work Lofts

Together with Johnson + Southerland, we've provided a study of various design options for a new development in Seattle’s Columbia City neighborhood.  Use of Cross-Laminted Timber floor diaphrams, steel moment frames, and steel brace frames combined with reinforced masonry walls were considered for two 3-story live-work lofts with workshop and storefront space on the ground floor, and two stories of offices and living space above.
